Milan boys and girls both pick up wins on the basketball court

MILAN — There hasn’t been a lot to celebrate for Milan’s basketball teams this winter.

The girls and boys had combined for just six wins.

But both came out on top in battles with Garden City on Wednesday night.

“It was a back-and-forth battle all night,” Milan coach Bobby Green said.

Mick led the 3-14 Big Reds with 15 points. Grand Segrist and Muhammad Ba added 11 each.
